Shannon Ridge High Elevation Zinfandel

We brought in the fruit at the peak of ripeness, fermented the Zinfandel at 85°F and laid it down in barrel for 22 months. This enabled us to bring out the caramel and spice on the nose; and smoky cherry, fresh wood and vanilla notes on the palate.

The Zinfandel delivers extracted characters of raspberry and blackberry, with notes of pie spice, clove and anise. Aging on oak brings richness and finesse with a long, lingering finish. We hope these wines bring a touch of Lake County's High Elevation fruit to any gathering of family and friends.
